Sam is one of the primary installation/delivery engineers and is responsible for ensuring smooth transition of different services, IT, Network and VoIP. This may sound technical, but Sam strips out the technical jargon and keeps our customers up to date in plain English, ensuring they understand what is going on at every stage of their project.

 “I think the best bit of working for SCG SW is there is always something new to learn. While it can be draining trying to keep up with the ever-changing technology landscape, I wouldn’t have it any other way. There is a reason I have worn many different hats in my career, it’s fun to learn something new!”

When asked about their proudest moment at SCG South West, Sam smiles,

“Towards the end of last year, I helped bring one of our largest new customers into SCG-SW support family. With the assistance of many of my colleagues, we ensured a smooth transition for the customers IT, network infrastructure, connectivity, and telephony systems. While I was the primary engineering contact for the customer during the transition, I couldn’t have done it with a great team behind me. Thanks everyone!”


When you ask Sam to identify their favourite SCG SW product or service, it’s an easy answer; “We have a lot of cool products and I enjoy tinkering with all the different technology… having said that I think my favourite is Ruckus and our cloud Wi-Fi and switching solution. Lots of great features to squeeze every ounce of performance out of the latest Wi-Fi standard with great hardware!”
