Ever used your phone abroad and been faced with an unexpected bill?

This should no longer happen as from 1 October 2024, Ofcom is introducing new protections for mobile phone users

New protections for mobile phone users

Ofcom is mandating that service providers must notify customers when they start roaming. At the same time, mobile providers must also offer clear and free to access information to customers, helping them to make an informed choice about how (and if) to use their mobile phone abroad.

This legislation comes into effect from 1 October 2024, so ensure that you know what is happening with your mobile phone before this date.

Support from SCG SW

At SCG, we support our customers with mobile phone contracts that offers the best coverage in their area and can be personalised to different users and their needs.
While we are not your direct service provider, we are still updating our systems to introduce roaming bulletins for you.
